About us

After many years of living all over the world, Gioacchino and Nicoletta Lanza Tomasi, Duke and Duchess of Palma, the owners and managers of the Palazzo, returned to Palermo in 2007, making it their permanent home.

On their return, they completed the restoration of their family home and the rental apartments.

The Duke was the adopted son and literary heir of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, as well as a musicologist and opera manager.

He was the President of the Association of Historic Houses of Sicily.

The Duchess, a former Russian interpreter and music festival organizer, is originally from Venice. She is an accomplished cook and has embraced the Sicilian culinary and cultural traditions with a passion.
